Trista Johnston
Trista (she/her) is a registered social worker who is known for her grace, warmth and compassion in her practice. She places importance on connecting with a client's unique energy, emotions and needs to shape the course of the session. Her approach is comprehensive as she uses mindfulness based strategies with compassionate inquiry and somatic awareness.
Trista is passionate about providing a space where women can come to see themselves beyond narratives or limiting beliefs. Her areas of focus include supporting women who are navigating the challenges of self-identity amidst societal pressures, women disconnected from their inner wisdom, those facing a lack of fulfillment and harmony in relationships, and women who find it challenging to assert their needs, desires and to use their voice.
Trista comes from a decade of combined experience in crisis counselling, health and wellness consulting, equine assisted therapy and teaching yoga. She is an avid yogi, meditator, nature lover and is a facilitator in authentic communication in Victoria, BC where she lives.
